FAQ

All You Wanted to Know And More

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A LIFEJACKET WHILE PADDLEBOARDING?

It depends. All persons 12 years old and under are required to wear a life jacket or PFD however all operators over 12 years of age are not required to wear one, but must have one attached to the board at all times. Lifejackets are provided for both events and rentals. Children through adult sizes available.

CAN CHILDREN AND GUARDIANS RIDE ON PADDLE BOARDS TOGETHER?

Yes, as long as the combined weight of both riders is less than 275lbs.

WHAT IS A PROPER PADDLE BOARDING ATTIRE?

We suggest wearing a bathing suit. While most participants will not fall into the water, some will. So dress assuming you may get wet.

DO ALL PARTICIPANTS NEED THEIR OWN RELEASE WAIVER?

Yes. Releases must be signed by all participants and given to us at the beginning of an event or when we drop off your rental boards. We will have extra forms with us, but it will be much faster and easier to get started if participants print and have forms ready to go. Visit our "Release Form" page to print a copy of the release.
